About Us

Jairah Comprehensive Student Management System (JCSMS) is a digital platform developed by students of Jairah Comprehensive Senior Secondary School to transform how student information is stored, accessed, and shared. Rooted in Christian values and driven by innovation, this project empowers schools to manage data with integrity, excellence, and purpose.

We aim to streamline student record management by providing a centralized system that securely stores each learner’s biodata, photograph, age, sex, boarding/day section, and parent contact information. Whether for school use, ministry inspection, or NGO partnerships, this system ensures that the right information is accessible when it matters most.

Developed under the Edify EdTech Exhibition 2025, this project showcases how digital tools—when used with wisdom and faith—can bring real-world impact to education in

Problem Statement

In many schools across Uganda, student information is recorded manually using paper-based registers or scattered spreadsheets. This method is inefficient, prone to loss or errors, and limits timely access to important learner data by school leaders, teachers, parents, and even external stakeholders like the Ministry of Education or NGOs. When urgent information such as parent contact details, health needs, or enrollment status is needed, delays or miscommunication can affect student welfare and school operations.

We saw a need for a centralized, digital, and secure system that allows instant access to student records—built by students, for schools—with the values of stewardship, service, and excellence.Uganda and beyond.
